2011 Birthing Naturally Book Give-Away

Birthing Naturally is looking for readers with a ministry story to share.

We want to know what you do in your community to help new and expectant families through infertility, pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum period.  Your ministry can be through your church, a community organization or your own private business.  You can lead the ministry, or be a volunteer.  The only catch, the ministry must be an on-going project that others can duplicate in their community. All stories submitted will be shared with readers who will pick the best ministry ideas.  Winners will receive two copies of 40 Weeks, one to keep for themselves and one to share.

How to Enter:

Write a 500 word story highlighting your ministry.
Tell us who you help and how. Include important information such as how many volunteers are involved, how families learn about your services or how the ministry is funded.  Add any information other readers need to know to create a similar ministry in their area.  But remember, you are limited to 500 words.

Select a photo to highlight your ministry
Choose a photo that represents your ministry.  This may be a photo of volunteers in action, the facility you use, a graph with important data about your ministry or even an advertisement in a local newspaper or logo for the ministry.  Do not use photos of people if you do not have their permission to share the photo.

Email your entry
Email the 500 word story and the photo to jennifer@birthingnaturally.net.  Be sure to submit the email by midnight Saturday December 17, 2011. Include your name, the ministry name and your preferred return email address so you can easily be contacted if you win.

Two ways to win:

Readers Choice:

All stories and photos will be posted to the Birthing Naturally Christian Childbirth Facebook page in a special album on Sunday, December 18.  Readers will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite ministry ideas through the month of December.  The ministry story with the most “Likes” before midnight Friday, January 6 will win two copies of 40 Weeks and of Lord of Birth, one set to keep and one set to give away.  Runners up will receive two copies of 40 Weeks.

Grand Prize Winner:

A panel of judges will select one grand prize winner to receive a Birthing Naturally Library – that is one copy of 40 Weeks, Lord of Birth, Christian Childbirth Handbook and Christian Childbirth Workbook.  Judging will be based on creative ministry ideas with potential to impact the community and the ability to be successfully duplicated.

Winners will be announced, Sunday, January 8th.

All ministry stories will be shared permanently on the Birthing Naturally website in a special ministry idea area.

Good Luck Everyone!
