Yes, pregnant women get information from the internet…

Are you asking your clients about the pregnancy information they access on the internet?  Do you trust the information they are accessing?  A new study suggests over 70% of women are using e-health, and 60% said they are using e-health for decision making.1 Interestingly, about 30% of the women are not discussing thier searches with their provider. 1

This makes me wonder what is happening in the interactions with the provider for those 30% of women that they are not talking about information they are actively see.  It is also a good reminder that as providers, we need to start some conversations. Do you ask your clients about the information they are seeking on the internet?
